Rihanna was spotted enjoying a night out with friends in Los Angeles at the same club where her on-again/off-again boyfriend Chris Brown's model ex was also partying with her friends.

The 'Diamonds' singer - who recently spent Christmas and New Year's Eve with the 23-year-old R&B star despite the fact he is still on probation for beating her in 2009 - was spotted in a Los Angeles nightclub on Sunday night (06.01.13) where his ex-girlfriend Karrueche Tran was also enjoying a night out with her friends.

The love rivals reportedly didn't attend the club called My Studio in Hollywood together but were both seen drinking and dancing in close proximity to each other inside, according to the MailOnline.com.

Chris was not present at the venue but his relationship with his model-ex has attracted fresh speculation recently after she joined him at his clothing line launch in Long Beach while Rihanna was enjoying a short trip to Ireland.

Photographs have hit the internet of Karrueche at the event, attempting to blend into the background while Chris poses with fans.

While Chris wasn't in Ireland with Rihanna, he spent New Year's Day (01.01.13) in bed with her.

The 'Turn Up The Music' singer posted a picture of himself on Instagram lying in bed under a black and white duvet shortly.

Just one hour earlier, Rihanna posted a picture under the same blanket with the caption: "Good morning! Still haven't slept lol #hello2013."

The beautiful singer also spent Christmas Day (25.12.12) with Chris and they were spotted snuggling while watching the Los Angeles Lakers in action at the Staples Centre.
