Good mix of R&B, rap and Afro-soul

THEY are young and ready to take on the music industry with the release of their first album, Nguye Lo. 2 Fresh's single, off this album also called Nguye Lo, is a good mix of R&B, rap and Afro-soul, generally representative of the texture of the whole album.

The band is made up of three members - Ofentse Tabane, Thabo Twala and Wandile Moya.

"The fact is, we sound fresh in that we have beautifully managed to fuse R&B, soul and rap, and we sing in local languages. We had a showcase in Pretoria recently, and the crowd fell in love with our music. The ladies, especially, went crazy," said Twala.

Tabane, who raps on the album, is also responsible for marketing the album - having gained marketing skills at Eletromode where he is in charge of the company's digital marketing. Eletromode also distributesthe album.

Another member, Moya, said: "I came in as a singer and also a producer on the album, while Thabo's responsibility is that of executive producer, besides providing the vocals."

The group has just finishedshooting the video of thealbum, and they have worked with some of the best video producers in the country.
