Wedding Proposal number 6 for The Hoff

David Hasselhoff is planning to propose to his girlfriend at a rugby match.

The former 'Baywatch' actor has popped the question to Hayley Roberts five times since they started dating a year ago, and despite her turning him down every time, he remains determined to make her his fiancee.

The couple are due to attend the Wales versus Italy 6 Nations tournament match at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff on March 10 and David is getting ready to ask the Welsh beauty to be his wife again.

Asked where he plans to propose next, he said: "Maybe at the Cardiff rugby match ... I'll be in the scrum going, 'Argh! Will you marry me! Ow!' "

David's previous proposals have taken place in a variety of strange places, including on the top of Sydney Harbour Bridge and in front of an elephant during a safari holiday, but he says the most memorable was when they were surrounded by sharks.

Speaking on UK TV show 'This Morning', he said: "The locations were dangerous and I did propose and all she would do is laugh because we're really just getting to know each other.

"When the shark jumped out of the water, the Great White shark, and I'm gong, 'Will  you marry me?' She was like, 'You're crazy,' and I said, 'I know! Isn't it great?'

"The shark and the elephants were my favourite, I'm having a great time - I've found someone who likes me."

The 59-year-old star is most attracted to Hayley because she is "real" - and says the former shop assistant didn't know very much about his work when they started dating.

He said: "We're up to our one-year anniversary, which is amazing. She's real, she asked me the perfect question, she said, 'Who did you play on 'Baywatch'?' and I said, 'Really?' I thought that was fantastic, she's a real girl."
