Fun at the Hush birthday bash

LAST Friday, SABC's 1 Live presenter Minnie Dlamini and publicist Melanie Ramjee celebrated their birthdays simultaneously at different venues.

We kick-started our fun at the Hush in Rosebank. The place looked very fabulous after renovations, and the normally sulky bouncers were in a good mood. Looking around, I was chaffed to spot Psyfo and Hulisani "CC" Ravele. The former Generations star and former Yotv presenter are clearly in love. The couple were all over each other as if they had just met. Looking at the way things are between them, wedding bells could be ringing sooner than later.

  • YFM presenter Bridgete Masinga was behaving like a schoolgirl. I am sure she wants to turn back the clock and be a teenager all over again.
  • The top-shayela of them all, Bonang Matheba of Live, is always followed by video cam-corders wherever she goes. By the way, were you not supposed to attend Minnie's birthday? Just asking! You need to be clear about where your loyalty lies.
  • Sports presenter Andile Ncube danced the whole night "alone". He was firing every bullet to attract the attention of the fairer sex but got nothing. Ag, shame, bhuti! Looks like you've lost your charm, but you can always visit Nancefield Hostel - you know for what.
  • Rami Chuene is looking hilarious, trying hard to look youthful. I nearly fainted when I recognised her as I was about to make my move.
  • David Tlale looked like a lost biker in a club. He was going on and on about the Durban July and how he dressed stars of note. Do we really care?
  • Claire Mawisa was as stylish and beautiful as usual. Is there a man in your life or are you fishing furiously?
  • Linda Moeketsi was looking happy, it looks like Dineo Ranaka has finally paid you. You ordered drinks as if drinks were going out of fashion.
  • At Minnie's "21st" birthday at Montecasino, Uyanda Mbuli was present. Khuli Chana, was it necessary to wear that over- sized jacket? You looked like you just came out of one of the shacks in Diepsloot.
