Baby octopuses are tiny

OCTOPUSES are molluscs that live on coral reefs and among the rocks near the coast. They have very good eyesight, which helps to keep them safe from predators.

The average octopus weighs about 3kg, though there are examples of ones weighing 10kg. They can be anything from 1m to 1,3m long.

Octopuses lay between 100000 and 500000 eggs and at birth a baby octopus is only 3mm long. -
