Tributes for Twine

TRIBUTES have been pouring in for the late Tony Twine, a leading economists who died at the weekend following a heart attack.

Twine, who lost his sight in his mid-20s, was, according to his peers, "a great economist who overcame his disabilities".

Colleague and chief economist at Econometrix, Azar Jammine said he and Twine had been business partners for 27 years.
