Plan for quake budget

TOKYO - Japanese leaders pushed for an emergency budget to counter economic damage from an earthquake that killed hundreds of people.

The Bank of Japan said it will cut short a two-day policy review scheduled for next week to one day today and promised to ensure financial market stability.
