SABC shows Queen B the door

SABC chief operations officer Hlaudi Motsoeneng has hammered a barbed stinger into Bonang "Queen B" Matheba's career.
Sunday World can reveal that the presenter of The Front Row, on MetroFM, was fired on Friday for showing the public broadcaster the middle finger. She had turned down its request to not co-present a World Cup show with Sizwe Dhlomo on rival SuperSport.
SABC spokesman Kaizer Kganyago confirmed that Matheba's fans won't hear her on her mid-morning show from tomorrow.
"Ms Bonang Matheba has been given a letter of dismissal on the basis that she had not asked for approval before entering into an agreement [with SuperSport] as stated in her contract with the SABC."
