BRENDA Ngxoli, who rose to fame as tomboy runner Vuyo on SABC1 drama series Home Affairs, has been dumped by reality show Our Perfect Wedding.

A source in the reality show's production team said: "She was fired for the same reasons that she was fired from Real Goboza.

"It's her diva tantrums that land her in hot water," said the insider.

Ngxoli was a co-presenter with Phat Joe on the gossip show's fourth season in 2010.

When her contract ended, it wasn't renewed and Pearl Thusi replaced her.

But an unfazed Ngxoli said: "People will always talk, but God is there even if they talk bad about me."

Ngxoli would neither confirm nor deny her reason for leaving the show, saying: "I completed the contract they gave me.

"For people to say I was that, I don't understand.

"I'm professional and deliver excellent work at all times."

M-Net publicity manager for local content Nomphelo Ndzimela played down the allegations.

"Brenda was not axed from the show," she said.

Ndzimela said they employed a new presenter for every season because of the format of the show.

Ngxoli, on the other hand, said she was looking forward to her stint on Rockville.

"I will be playing a character called Gladys, who is an old friend of Mavis Mabaso, a character played by Connie Ferguson.

"I can't give too much info about it, but I can say she is a blast from the past in her life."

Rockville season two starts next Sunday at 8pm on Mzansi Magic.
