FORMER Joyous Celebration member Emmanuel SK Motubatsi has died. It is believed that the vocalist - a top 10 finalist in 2003's Coca-Cola Popstars - took his life.

Music producer and Joyous Celebration founder Lindelani Mkhize said: "We haven't heard the full story. We don't know what led him to do what he did. It was really unexpected."

Motubatsi left Joyous in 2008.
