ANELE Ngcongca hopes to have his future resolved in the next few weeks despite the World Cup disrupting the transfer market in Europe as he seeks a move away from Belgian side Genk.

The Bafana Bafana right-back is looking to end his seven-year stay at Genk and his agent, Mike Makaab, says there is no shortage of interest.

"We are busy talking to a number of clubs in various countries, Turkey, Germany and France being just three," Makaab said.

"We will probably know where his future lies in the next week or two."

Makaab added thatNgcongca could remain at Genk, where he has two years remaining on his contract, but this is thought to be the least favourable of the options for the 26-year-old. Ngcongca might have hoped to have his future tied down by now, but Makaab says the World Cup is playing havoc with the transfer market.

"The World Cup is very disruptive, I saw exactly the same thing four years ago when we hosted in South Africa. A lot of clubs are sending scouts and representatives to the tournament to look at what talent they can see there and compare it to what is being offered to them now.

"That means we only expect real movement in the market after the second week in July and with the window closing at the end of August, it means it will all be a little tight for some deals to go through."
