FORMER Orlando Pirates coach Ruud Krol has secured himself a new job - serving as an instructor of local development coaches.

Krol has teamed up with the Royal Netherlands Football Association and Discovery Vitality to conduct a series of workshops for coaches in South Africa.

The first phase of the workshops started in Pretoria yesterday and will run until next week Thursday with Krol supervising the project.

The Johannesburg leg starts at Braamfischer Multipurpose Centre in Roodepoort tomorrow, followed by the Sandton one at Crawford in Benmore Gardens from Friday until next week Thursday.

Krol, who quit Pirates after winning the treble with them last season, is back in the country as his daughter is studying at a private school in Johannesburg.

The former Dutch international, who has been keeping a low profile since his return to the country last month, could not be reached for comment at the time of going to press.

Other workshops will be held in KwaZulu-Natal and Western Cape, where Krol will be assisted by renowned instructor Nico Labohm.

Labohm is a seasoned football player with more than 20 years' coaching and instructing experience.
