Three people were killed and at least nine others injured in a collision between a bakkie and a light motor vehicle on the N4 near Waterval Boven in Mpumalanga on Sunday‚ paramedics said.
ER24 said that the driver of the bakkie and both occupants of the light motor vehicle had been killed in the accident.
One of the passengers in the bakkie was critically injured and had to be airlifted to the Rob Ferreira Hospital in Mbombela (Nelspruit).
The remaining injured‚ who sustained minor to moderate injuries‚ were ferried to the hospital in ambulances.
