Oscar Pistorius’s bail has been extended at the North Gauteng High Court on Friday.

Judge Thokozile Masipa said that the defence team has adequately persuaded her to grant the extension of bail.

She also set 13 October 2014 as the day she will be handing down the sentencing on the charges of which Pistorius was found guilty.

Judge Masipa said that she understands and accept the defence's argument stating that Pistorius had to sell his property in order to be able to cover his legal costs.
