'ATM bombers' nabbed

TWO suspected ATM bombers, on the run since 2010, were arrested in Katlehong yesterday, Ekurhuleni metro police said.

One of the men was arrested in Ncala section and the other in Nhlapo section, Chief Superintendent Wilfred Kgasago said. "Armed with information and photos of the wanted suspects ... the first suspect was confronted at his home and led the metro police to his accomplice."

The men were wanted in connection with ATM bombings in KwaZulu-Natal. Kgasago said the men would be taken to Estcourt where they would face charges of ATM bombings, damage to property and endangering peoples' lives.
