Soweto pastor arrested for rape

A pastor was arrested in Dobsonville, Soweto on Sunday after he alleged raped a 14-year-old girl

Warrant Officer Kay Makhubela said the 39-year-old pastor asked the girl to come to his home on Saturday to wash his clothes.  

“She was wearing jeans, and he allegedly said that as a pastor he doesn’t allow jeans, so he instructed her to take them off,” he said.

“He then took her to his bedroom and allegedly raped her.” 

The pastor will appear in the Roodeport Magistrate’s Court soon, Makhubela said.
