Kids try to cheat way into school

Discovered with fake report cards

Two KwaZulu-Natal teenagers were arrested for trying to register at the Mtwemtweni High School near Amanzimtoti with fraudulent report cards, provincial police said.

The two, aged 15 and 16, were arrested after they tried to register for grade nine, Captain Thulani Zwane said.

“They claimed that the reports were from the Khayelihle High School that they had previously attended in uMbumbulu. Authorities at Khayelihle High School refuted the claims that the school reports had been issued by them.”

Both teenagers would appear in the Nsimbini Magistrate’s Court on Thursday on charges of fraud.
