I want my daughter, pleads dad

A SOWETO father is desperately pleading with the public to help him find his missing daughter.

Hulisani Anitta Maake, 21, of Protea Glen, was last seen in Pretoria on July 31.

Her father, Patrick Maake, said he had been to her flat and the Tshwane University of Technology campus where she was studying but nobody knew her whereabouts.

"I am scared that I will not see my daughter again. I want her back home," Maake pleaded.

Hulisani was a second-year student studying for a degree in logistics.

Maake said the last time he heard from his daughter was when she called home telling them she needed money because she wanted to move to another flat.

"I deposited R2000 into her bank account on July 27. But the next day she called her mother to ask for more money. She told my wife that someone had fraudulently withdrawn money from her account," he said.

Maake reported Hulisani missing to Pretoria Central police station on Friday.
