Tbo Touch backtracks on e-toll comments: 'What I said was made in jest'

Tbo Touch has once again changed his tune on e-tolls‚ following the backlash he received from telling radio host Gareth Cliff that he lied about owning one.

The popular radio personality and businessman caused quite a stir on social media recently when he told Gareth in an interview on CliffCentral‚ that he does not own an e-tag‚ despite once being an outspoken ambassador for the controversial e-toll system implemented by SANRAL.

“Of course‚ I don’t even have an e-tag. I lied. I don’t. Go down to my car right now. Yeah‚ go check‚” he told Gareth.

But after his comments went viral‚ Touch took to Twitter to respond to the fiasco and claim that he had made the comments in jest
