SABC 2’s weekly comic sitcom, Gauteng Maboneng makes a comeback on screen with fresh new faces and more laughter for its second season.
Singer, Dr Malinga is one of the new faces joining the sitcom replacing Mahlubi Kraai who played Lebo on season one.
Gauteng Maboneng is a series produced by Royal house productions and Engaghe Entertainment about a car mechanic and wannabe rapper, Lebo who brings his aging Gogo and scheming best friend to Gauteng and finds out his dead uncle left him a fortune.
New characters on the show include actors such as, Mpho Sibeko and Noxolo Maqhashala.
Maqhashalala was introduced on TV with the popular shpw Tsha-Tsha where she played Viwe.
She disappeared from the TV screens for a while taking time to learn more about production and now she makes a comeback landing a role on the sitcom.
Sibeko was introduced into the acting scene with a role in Rhythm City.
The new faces debuting on the sitcom will add entertainment to the season one’s stellar cast of actors such as Generations Mandla Gaduka, Linda Sebenzo and more.
Gauteng Maboneng is set to play weekly on Mondays premieres 20 October on SABC 2.
