Oliver Mtukudzi celebrates his 60th birthday with his SA fans

Living legend Oliver Mtukudzi celebrates his 60th birthday with a one night only show, which coincides with the release of his 60th studio album, 'Sarawoga' - dedicated to his late son Sam Mtukudzi, who died in a car accident

Mtukudzi has achieved regional and international status through his 'conscious music'. From the front cover of Time magazine to his appointment as a UNICEF goodwill ambassador, Mtukudzi’s fame, stage craft and music are legendary.

To celebrate his incredible milestones, Oliver invites all of his fans to his first performance in Johannesburg for 2012 for his 60th birthday performance, which promises to be something very special as he invites his musical friends to perform with him on stage throughout the 120-minute show.

Stars such Judith Sephuma, Hugh Masekela, Siphokazi Steve Dyer and Zahara will join Oliver on stage.

The show will be on 2 November 2012 at Carnival City near Johannesburg.

Tickets are available from Computicket.
