MUSICIAN and comedian Doctor Malinga delivered a thrilling performance on Saturday at the Securex Siyabangena Soweto Concert at the Sebetsa Othole Moputso Sports Ground in Snake Park.
It was supposed to be an intimate promotional event but Malinga turned it into a serious gig. The singer, whose song I Am a Casanova is getting massive airplay, impressed the crowd.
The energetic Malinga entertained the audience with his crazy dance moves.
Asked who choreographed his dance moves he said: "It's funny that I don't sit down and create. When I am on stage I just do whatever crazy move that comes to mind. I am not a dancer but a comedian. I just want to see people laughing while enjoying my music," he said.
The singer from Hammanskraal said whenever he performs he gives his all.
"For me, it does not matter if the venue has three people or it's full. I always give it my best. I perform as if it is my last day on earth. I enjoyed this platform."
Lwandle Duma of Snake Park said: "I only came here to see Doctor Malinga. It was my first time seeing him live. He rocked."
