LOVERS of house music will be happy to know that one of the world's young pop sensations, David Guetta, is coming to South Africa next month.

The young singer whose sensational voice touches the hearts of many a music fan will be accompanied on this tour by R&B and hip-hop star Akon and a selection of top international DJS.

Guetta's new album Nothing But The Beat is out now and includes the smash hits Where Them Girls At featuring Flo Rida & Nicki Minaj, and the killer new single Little Bad Girl featuring Taio Cruz and Ludacris.

Nothing But The Beat features no fewer than 17 guest artists, including hip-hop royalty Snoop Dogg and Timbaland, along with R&B superstars Usher, Chris Brown and Akon - plus Guetta's fellow mad scientist Will.I.Am.

"I produced about 40 songs to get these 13 records together," Guetta explains. "I wanted every song to be huge, phenomenal."

This tour which was confirmed by the organisers yesterday followed months of speculation. The concerts will be in Cape Town on October 14 and Johannesburg on October 15.

They will be supported by a line-up of local and international artists/DJs - including new South African stars Jax Panik. These local music revolutionaries have been making waves with their brand of off-the-wall pop/dance and unique live shows.

Popular DJ Dean Fuel will keep the beats alive with 5FM's Poppy.
