Dancers wow viewers

I HAVE been watching Step Up Or Step Outfor quite some time and though I find it interesting, I am aware that it has jumped on the bandwagon of earlier shows on TV.

Think of So You Think You can Dance, SA Got Talent and Strictly Come Dancing. People have seen these shows before on SABC1 and SABC2, and probably also got hooked.

There's nothing wrong with that because yours truly also loved them, and so did thousands of other TV viewers. Hence we now have Step Up Or Step Out running on e.tv on Sundays.

It has quite an interesting mix of judges - Arthur Mafokate, Emiley Jansen , and Penelope Tlhloloe.

This show is brimming with talent from the township and unfortunately the judges have to choose some and exclude others. For this reason they are not in my good books.

Things are sizzling since the show is down to the last six groups. This week the remaining crews work with choreographer Lindiwe Rose as she guides them through their challenge for the week: dancehall, a dance genre that originated in Jamaica in the late 1970s.

The introduction of artists' performances each week will add more flavour to the show. Catch the action on e.tv at 6.05pm.
