DA gets another NFP endorsement in KZN

The National Freedom Party (NFP) in the Zululand’s Nongoma – and sitting mayor Jeremiah Bhekumthetho Mavundla — has endorsed the “Democratic Alliance (DA) in these local government elections”.

That’s according to the DA’s KwaZulu-Natal leader‚ Zwakele Mncwango‚ who said it follows Monday’s endorsement of the party by the NFP in eDumbe.

The NFP was excluded from participating in the polls after failing to pay registration fees on time.

“The DA will take this endorsement seriously‚ and ensure that we work hard to win both eDumbe and Nongoma so that we can bring about the change that DA governments will bring with them‚” Mncwango said.

He urged other “members and supporters of the NFP to follow their example and join hands with the DA”.

“Throughout this campaign‚ we have spread our message of hope: DA governments will bring about change that stops corruption‚ creates jobs and deliver better services‚” Mncwango said.

“By doing this‚ we can realise Madiba’s dream and move our great country forward again.”
