Lerato Kganyago ready to stand her ground

Lerato Kganyago - She is a television presenter, model, known for hosting her own talk show on Soweto TV called The LKG Show and for hosting the SABC1 lifestyle magazine show The Link. She gained her fame in 2002 when she was crowned Miss Jam Alley was also a finalist in the Miss City Press contests in 2003 and 2005 and was crowned Miss Soweto in 2005.

One little syllable. Two tiny letters. Yet there are some people who would rather cross burning sand than utter that sound. Even for people who can say “no‚” it doesn’t always come easily. Take Lerato Kganyago for instance...

Like many‚ the TV personality has often grappled with the ability to say “no” to people‚ repeatedly finding herself in a position where she has to explain herself. And after being taken advantaged of as a result‚ she’s ready to stand her ground.

Taking to Twitter on Thursday‚ Lerato revealed that there was a time when she would find it difficult to express her feelings to accommodate other people‚ but that would subsequently backfire on her.

Lerato also explained that while being considerate of others’ feelings‚ “people will take your kindness for granted‚ until you flip on them‚ then [you’re] the bad guy‚” before pointing out that she needs to go back to standing her ground — like she used to in the past.
