Eskom says the electricity system remains constrained but stable and that it does not anticipate having to implement load shedding on Sunday.
“Thus far‚ we have had 54 consecutive days of no load shedding. Our maintenance plan is aimed at increasing the reliability of our plant‚ and this will in turn increase our operating reserves and stabilise the grid.
“We continue to appeal to all our customers to continue to reduce their electricity usage throughout the day‚” the power provider said.
