Eskom warns public about recruitment scam

Eskom has warned the general public about a recruitment scam that is currently taking place in the Lephalale area in Limpopo.

“The criminals’ modus operandi is to advertise jobs in the area and once a would-be applicant is called in for an interview a fee is solicited from them‚” the power provider said.

“Eskom would like to state categorically that the company would never ask members of the public seeking employment to pay in order to be successfully recruited into Eskom. In addition all Eskom jobs are advertised on the Eskom website‚” it added.
