Body recovered down Cape Town cliff

A Cape Town man's body was recovered from his vehicle down a cliff between Gordon's Bay and Kogel Bay.

National Sea Rescue Institute (NSRI) spokesman Craig Lambinon said the 29-year-old's family reported him missing to the police, and asked the NSRI to search for him along the coastline.

The family feared his vehicle could have left the road between Kleinmond and Gordon's Bay after he took the R44 to Cape Town on Saturday afternoon, but failed to arrive at his destination.

His body and vehicle were recovered at Dappat Se Gat, near Kogel Bay, on Monday afternoon.
