A two-year-old girl was in a serious condition after she was left alone in a car in Constantia Park, Roodepoort, at the weekend, paramedics said
"The child was left in the closed up vehicle while the parents went shopping," on Saturday afternoon, Netcare 911 said in a statement.
"A church minister noticed the child when he arrived and raised the alarm.
"Netcare 911 paramedics arrived at the scene and found that the minister had broken the window and pulled the child from the boiling vehicle."
Police are investigating.
