A 26-YEAR-OLD soccer player, who was caught speeding at 188kmh on the N1, appeared briefly in the Vanderbijlpark magistrate's court yesterday.
Jeffrey Ntuka's matter was postponed to today for further investigation.
Gauteng Traffic Police spokesperson Busaphi Nxumalo said the player was arrested on Sunday near Vanderbijlpark and was released on R1000 bail the same day.
Ntuka is a defender for SuperSport United and has played 10 matches for the South African national under-23 side.
