A MAN was crushed to death by a printing press die cutter in Denver yesterday, Johannesburg Emergency Management Services spokesperson Percy Morokane said.
At least 20 tons of paper was being pressed at Spyker Ink when the machine got stuck.
Morokane said: "The man leaned over to remove whatever obstruction was there ... and it closed on him."
Netcare 911 spokesperson Chris Botha said the man died before paramedics arrived on the scene.
