Tug-of-war over Queen B

SUPERSPORT and SABC bosses are grabbing each other by the throat as they battle for Mzansi's It Girl, Bonang Matheba.
Sunday World can exclusively reveal that the SABC instructed Queen B to terminate the contract she signed with SuperSport to present a new sports show from Saturday.
The SABC's spokesman, Kaizer Kganyago, confirmed that Matheba would stay with the national broadcaster.
"The SABC can confirm that Ms Bonang Matheba will not be hosting the World Cup programme on SuperSport.
"The SABC can also confirm that it has put in place a strategy where on-air talent will only be contracted to the SABC."
Kganyago said they would engage with those who are working for rival media houses on the matter.
