PetroSA gets R8.1bn gas project

SOUTH African national oil company PetroSA has been granted regulatory approval to start producing gas feedstock from its $1-billion (about R8.1-billion) offshore Ikhwezi gas project, it said.

The offshore gas field, called "F-O", is located off South Africa's south coast and has in the region of 1trillion cubic feet (TFC) of gas, with an upside of 2-3 TFC, the company has said.
