Cosmos faces ruthless Birds

Jomo Cosmos faces an uphill battle ahead of their relegation/ promotion play-offs game against cruel Moroka Swallows at the Vaal University of Technology on Sunday.

Kickoff is at 15H00.

Cosmos is desperately looking to register their first win of their campaign after losing 2-0 to Black Leopards last weekend.

“Leopards took their chances, they took their two chances and scored, we controlled the game and we never took our chances. I give my players credit, they played well, they gave their best against big crowds like this", Sono told PSL website.

"And then, if we don't lose all our games at home then we're back in contention," said Sono.

Swallows manager Craig Rosslee was satisfied with their 2-0 win over Leopards on Wednesday evening.

Sono believes that his side played some good football against Leopards and will be hoping for a clinical finish in front of goal posts when they meet the Dube Birds.
