ANELE Ngcongca will confront with friend and potential Bafana Bafana teammate at the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations, Ayanda Patosi, on Sunday when Genk host Lokeren in Belgium.

Should Ngcongca start the match at right-back, he will be on a collision course with Patosi, who is playing on the left wing for Lokeren this season.

The latter has been a sensation this campaign and a good performance against national team star and fellow Capetonian Ngcongca would do much for his confidence.

No team in the Belgian top-flight has conceded fewer goals than Kortrijk's 15 this season and goalkeeper Darren Keet takes that proud record to Charleroi tomorrow.

A change of coach at Lierse could open the door for a return to action for Lance Davids, who was frozen out under the previous manager, Chris Janssens.

But the appointment of former Egyptian national team caretaker boss Hany Ramzy will leave everybody at the club starting with a clean slate. Ramzy is no stranger to South Africans, either. He was part of the team that beat Bafana Bafana in the 1998 Africa Cup of Nations final in Burkina Faso.

Former Bafana skipper Steven Pienaar faces another tough test when his Everton side visit English Premiership champions Manchester City tomorrow. After a run of indifferent form, Pienaar was back to his best in the 1-1 draw with Arsenal on Wednesday.

Kagisho Dikgacoi's Crystal Palace host Brighton & Hove Albion in the Championship as they seek to regain top spot after a defeat and a draw in their last two games.

Dean Furman's Oldham Athletic are involved in the FA Cup second round as they host Doncaster Rovers, a team they lost 1- 0 to in the league in midweek.

Bongani Khumalo will hope to win his place back in the PAOK side as they travel to struggling Veria tomorrow, the side that Calvin Kadi helped win promotion last season. Khumalo was on the bench for the 1-1 draw with league leaders Olympiakos last weekend.

Likewise Siyanda Xulu, who found himself back on the bench for Russian Premier League side FC Rostov last time out. They are away at Krylya Sovetov on Sunday.
