AMAJITA leave for Botswana today confident of starting their 2013 African Youth Championships qualifier on a high note by eliminating the Young Zebras.

The South African Under-20s take on Botswana in Gaborone on Wednesday with the return match at Sinaba stadium in Daveyton on Sunday. It will be Amajita's first match since they bombed out of the Cosafa Under-20 Cup in the first round in Botswana in December.

The team has been in camp to prepare for Botswana and Luvhengo is happy with the build-up.

"The purpose of the camp will be to build the team that will take part in the African Youth Championships later in the year," said Luvhengo.

"We don't want to be caught unprepared for the qualifiers. The other intention is to beef up the current squad as I'll be using 12 players from the squad that took part in the Cosafa tournament last year.

"Since the away match against Botswana falls on a Fifa date, I have called up a very strong squad of players from the PSL clubs. For the return leg I will be calling up players from the academies to increase the base of the squad.

"It is important to wrap it up on Wednesday and qualify for the second round."
