NEW Soweto Football Association affiliates, The Best FC, are 90 minutes away from realising their dream of winning the 2011 Stix Morewa Soccer Cup on their debut.
The Best, who are from Vlakfontein informal settlement near Lenasia South, are newcomers in the Soweto Football League (SFL) after joining the body three months ago.
Before joining SFA The Best played challenge games, but the legendary Pepe Dire insisted that they join a recognised Safa structure before he could join them as coach.
Dire's charges will meet Mike Stars in the final of this tournament at Nike Football Training Centre in Soweto on Sunday at 2.20pm.
Stars set-up a final clash with The Best after walloping Kopanang Bakwena 3-1 in the other semifinal match on Sunday.
Unicorn FC and PCO Young Ones will meet in the Under-11 final, starting at 1am.
Diepkloof Barcelona take on Orlando Chelsea in the Under-17 final at noon.
