Deceased International Pentecost Holiness Church leader Glayton Modise had allegedly hid assets worth more than R25-million from his family.

Maurice Mphaphuli, his friend and right-hand man, disclosed this secret after the clergyman's children allegedly started pestering him for answers before and after he Modise in February.

Modise taken for R30 million ride

Mphaphuli confirmed that he was warehousing at least one mansion worth R10-million for Modise but denied hoarding more of the late bishop's properties.

The house, a 12-bedroom mansion in Amandasig, Pretoria North, is located on the same street as Mphaphuli's. The two double-storey houses look almost similar in design, something that Mphaphuli said had prompted Modise's children to claim both houses belonged to their father.
