R500,000 offered for info on fatal ATM attack

SBV Services has offered a R500,000 for information that could lead to the arrests and convictions of the suspects involved in an armed robbery which left one of its guards dead.

According to an SBV statement‚ four security officers were attacked while servicing an ATM in Ga-Rankuwa‚ Pretoria.

“Sadly‚ during the attack one of our employees lost their lives. I wish to extend my condolences to the family‚ colleagues and friends of our deceased employee‚” said SBV Services MD Mark Barret.

The amount of money taken has not been revealed and “no additional details can be disclosed as an investigation is underway”‚ the SBV statement said..

“Furthermore‚ I wish to commend our employees for their bravery during the attack‚” said Barret.
