Flabba trial: Sindisiwe Manqele takes the stand

In the wake of news that Sindisiwe Manqele's medical files have gone missing, the Nkululeko 'Flabba' Habedi's murder accused has finally taken a stand at the High Court sitting in Randburg on Tuesday.

It was revealed that Manqele's files have gone missing at the Alexandra Clinic. Files which were expected to play a major role in helping her case.

Manqele is said to have sustained several injuries on her body - still unclear whether it was on one or both her wrists - details which were contained in the missing file.

Manqele has confirmed that she stabbed the late hip hop legend but remains adamant that it was all in self-defense.

At the High Court in Randburg, Manqele, for the first time since she appeared in court, has taken off her scarf.

She revealed that she has known Flabba for the past nine years before leaving for Ireland in 2009 where she was studying towards an Honours Degree in Business.

Manqele revealed that she had a good relationship with Flabba's family especially his mother and daughter.

Although she is originally from Kempton Park, Manqele revealed that she was living with Flabba at his Alexandra home prior to the incident on March 8 and she would only go back home to get clothes.

She also revealed that she lost both her mother and brother in 2008 and lives with her father in Kempton Park.
