A 13-year-old girl burnt to death in Katlehong overnight, Ekurhuleni emergency services said
Spokesman William Ntladi said a house in Twala section caught fire on Wednesday night.
“After the flames were extinguished, the body of a 13-year-old girl was discovered inside one of the sleeping rooms. The fire could have started in the dining room and prevented the child from escaping out of the sleeping room for safety” he said.
Her 42-year-old mother was not injured.
