THE OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg was named the best airport in Africa at an international awards ceremony in Denmark, the Airports Company SA said yesterday.
"This award signifies yet another important milestone for the airport just months after South Africa successfully hosted the Fifa 2010 World Cup," airport general manager Christopher Hlekane said.
