A DURBAN man and his wife were arrested for alleged possession of illegal firearms and ammunition at Wema Hostel yesterday, KwaZulu-Natal police said.
"The man took the members to his house at Mehlomnyama area where they found two .303 rifles, a .38 revolver and 275 various (rounds) of ammunition," police said.
Police arrested the couple and they appeared in the Port Shepstone magistrate's court yesterday.
They were expected back in court on March 9.
