Bucie of Ngicela Indoda fame refused to disclose the name of the beau, only letting out that he is a "black American" and not a "celebrity".

She said the long distance took a toll on the relationship.

"We met through Facebook. After hundreds of chats, we eventually hooked up. I started travelling to the US often. It was sweet when it started, but it eventually became emotionally draining being away from him for longer periods.

"I put everything into the relationship, but the distance just killed it. I just had to let go. We both agreed that it was not working."

She adds that she could see that the relationship was not going anywhere after five months of dating, but held on in the hope that it would work miraculously.

"I am getting old now. I am ready to settle down and I want to have children. At the rate we were going, I could not see it happening any time soon.

"At the moment I am happily single. I know Mr Right will come along.

"I get a lot of men asking me out. That is why I am not panicking. I know something will come."

The 25-year-old's career is going well. She joined Zakwe, AKA and The Arrows to work with legend Caiphus Semenya to remix one of his hit songs as part of the Hennessy Artistry 2012 project. "I feel very honoured to work with Caiphus."
