'Best Song Ever' hitmakers One Direction are in line for a brand new comedy show with discussions already on-going, while a 2015 stadium tour is also expected.

The superstar boyband haven't even reached the halfway point of their current trip across the globe, but it is said the 'Story of My Life' hitmakers are already keen to push on with their next big project. A source told the Daily Star Sunday newspaper: ''The boys and the team have agreed that taking an extended break is not needed.

''They have been loving the tour so far and have all got a renewed lease of energy. Discussions about another stadium tour next year are already on-going. ''A new TV show is also being discussed. At this stage the pilot sees them living in Los Angeles by the beach.'' Although a full series hasn't been officially commissioned just yet, it is said a host of comedy writers are set to join the team.

The insider added: ''Comedy writers will be working on it, so that it really gives all the boys a chance to shine and be a great advert for their new music. ''The show will be peppered with guest cameos, too. The plan is for the boys to see a pilot in the spring. No series has been commissioned yet and it is all very hush-hush.''
