Stretching is good for you

WE need to stretch our bodies to improve our flexibility (the range of motion available to our joints).

Flexibility does the following:

  • Improves muscle balance around a joint, which in turn improves your posture;
  • Reduces the chance of injury when we are active; and
  • Increases the blood and nutrient supply to muscles and cartilage.
