More about the show:

A new reality series for entrepreneurs, called the Big Break Legacy TV Show, will soon hit South African TV screens.

Scientist-turned-entrepreneur Ezra Ndwandwe, who is behind the show, says the SA small business sector is structurally punitive to budding entrepreneurs, a factor which accounts for low levels of entrepreneurship in the country.

The show will feature 12 contestants, who will compete for a whopping R5 million investment prize.

The contestants have to prove their entrepreneurial flair through various business challenges, over a 13 episode season.

"We have to build an environment that says to entrepreneurs, 'It's OK to fail, but do it with purpose and resolve'," Ndwandwe said.

The Big Break Legacy will see contestants compete against each other's business ideas.

The show will air on February 2 2012 on SABC2.
