Gaza miracle: baby delivered from dead mother's womb - VIDEO

A the team of medics performed an emergency C-section to extract a premature baby girl from the womb of a fatally wounded woman hit by an Israeli air strike on a house in the central Gaza town of Deir al-Balah.

The mother was clinically dead for 10 minutes before the operation finished. Unborns surviving longer than 5 minutes inside a dead mother is a ‘miracle.’

Shayma Shiekh al-Eid has a 50/50 chance of survival.

More than 800 people have been killed in Gaza since Israel launched its military offensive on 8 July with the declared objective of stopping Hamas firing rockets into Israel. Israel has lost 36 people.
