- April 28 2021: President Cyril Ramaphosa accompanied by his wife Dr Tshepo Motsepe.
- Ramaphosa is scheduled to testify for two days as the leader of the ANC on Wednesday and Thursday.
- Ramaphosa is expected to return to the commission next month and testify for another two days as the head of state on 13-14 May. 
- Ramaphosa had previously acknowledged in a stinging letter to the party’s membership in August last year that while the ANC might not stand alone in the dock, it did “stand as accused No.1.
- Ramaphosa is expected to detail the extent of his knowledge of the Gupta brothers, his interaction with them as well as the extent of their relationship with the ANC.
- The president appears at the state capture commission to testify in his capacity as the president of the African National Congress.

President Cyril Ramaphosa has arrived at the state capture inquiry.

The president appears at the state capture commission to testify in his capacity as the president of the African National Congress.

This week he will explain his party's role, and what he did when he was deputy president of the ANC under Jacob Zuma. 

He will return to the commission in May in his capacity as state president.
